Mike McDonald Medical Fund

Mike is a 34 yr old father of two, 9 yr old Charles and 1 yr old Caroline. Married to Erica. Mike started his own Landscape & Lawn Maintenance buisness in Deltona FL, fighting through the hurtles of acquiring equipment, trucks and trailer, maintaining that equipment and trying to grow his business. He doesn't quit, quitters never win, winners never quit. He works hard to keep his nose above water and care for his wife and kids.  His son is a special needs child, living with ASD/Autism Spectrum Disorder. Mike and Erica make sure these kids are fed, clean and well dressed, and get all the doctor and dental work growing kids need. Their kids come first before all else.
Mike has had a life long passion for inline skating (aka rollerblades). He assists with promotional events so young kids can have places to skate. He's well known in the skating community.
Yesterday while enjoying this passion, he was on a ramp and all I know is at the top something went wrong...he fell back dropping 10 feet landing on the back of his head on concrete. 
Thankfully, people there called 911 immediately and he had to be taken to the nearest trauma center. CT showed bleeding on both sides of the brain, and he suffered a severe concussion. Luckily, the last 24 hrs in ICU have gone his way. They don't believe surgery will be required, but he will have a long recovery. They have no idea the level of brain damage he's sustained. He fears the loss of his business and the ability to care for his family, and add these yet unknown, but surely expensive hospital bills to the mix and the outlook is bleak. Not to mention how this will affect their Christmas. He and Erica will need as much help as possible as soon as they can get it, for an undetermined amount of time due to the anticipated long duration of his recovery.
