Mike Lawrence Fundraiser

Mike Lawrence of Republic, MI, was in an ATV accident on August 13, 2020. He was riding alongside the shoulder of the highway and hit the top of a hidden culvert. He was immediately ejected off of his four-wheeler and suffered immense physical damage and health problems because of the impact.

Mike's accident caused incredible trauma to his body. Since the day of the accident he has been hospitalized; he had a spinal fusion to attach a metal plate to his skull from spine to save the function of his spine. Mike is very fortunate to not be paralyzed! He suffered a punctured lung, break to his left forearm, 24 stitches to "reglove" his left hand, a dislocated shoulder with three fractures, as well as a right-sided clavicle break. His road to recovery will be long, painful and incredibly expensive.

Mike is a father to two wonderful teenage boys. Along with his sons, he also lives with his girlfriend Ashley Prusi-McCracken, and her daughter Leah. Ashley is currently the only income in the household due to Mike being laid off of work. Mike may not be able to return to work ever again, let alone in the next year's time. Ashley's income alone will not supplement their household needs nor his medical expenses.
