Mike & Julie Emergency Fund

On Halloween night, my brother Mike & his wife Julie were about to go to bed when they heard noises in the garage.  As they approached the garage door, they noticed smoke coming through the doorway and immediately evacuated and called 911. Their garage, including both their cars, was completely engulfed in flames.  The firemen put the fire out, so they thought…

Unfortunately the next morning, there was a second fire and this fire did more damage than the first. Their entire house is completely damaged. They have no cars and no home to go to and have lost everything. They are working with their insurance company, but as you can imagine, they are completely devastated. They have had a rough few months as they were recently evacuated from their home when the hurricanes hit their neighborhood in Florida.

Mike is my oldest brother (the oldest of 12 kids) and has always been there for me and has been my biggest supporter. As his little sis, I would love to bring them some comfort and hope during this difficult time and show them that there are people out there that care for them. Whatever you can give- big or small to help them get back on their feet, buy groceries, clothes, maybe enough to pay for a hotel night stay- is greatly appreciated.
