Mike Gilliam Health Care Fund

 Mike Gilliam, a long time Foreman for Knabuilders, was in a serious motorcycle accident (motorist made illegal u turn cutting him off) Monday morning.  While at work Mike left to help his son who crushed 2 fingers at work.  Mike hit the car, was Mercy flighted to ECMC where he underwent 8 hrs. of surgery to pin him together.  They are trying to save one of his legs. Both main arteries crushed and nerves severed, he has a long road ahead. Mike was one of the best employees and craftsmen we ever employed, a good father and husband to his disabled wife. Every dime he made went toward her health care. As a dedicated employer giving back to the community, Knabuilders will give back to you for the years of service. We are continuing your health insurance, aiding in legal services, and starting a go fund me Facebook.  The person driving was a chronic traffic offender and not looking good for any financial gain. I encourage everyone to give.  Instead of that next beer, blowing gas at a poker run or track, going out for a dinner, movie, or that big vacation, make a sacrifice to help someone in need.  Trust me it won’t phase your life style.  And if you think you have more problems than Mike, think again.  No income at all.  Trying to help a friend fellow worker in need.  Mike will not be able to swing a hammer again.  I will try to find a spot for him in our office in the future.  The last words my father taught me before he passed 2 weeks ago, its better to give than receive.  Again, thankyou in advance.
