Mike Gernigin's recovery

On November 4, 2016, Mike Gernigin, was working and had some weird feelings in his chest. He called his wife Alice to see if she thought he should go get checked out. She suggested he go to the ER just to see what was going on. On arrival he had an abnormal EKG followed by a second one... next thing he knew, they were putting him on a helicopter and taking him to St. Joseph's in St a Charles, MO. He was taken in for a cardiac cath as soon as he got there. They discovered he suffered a massive heart attack. He had 3 blocked arteries, 100%, 99% and 80%. Every doctor and nurse told him he was lucky to be alive and had he not went to the hospital he wouldn't have survived. On Monday morning, 11/7/16, he underwent a triple bypass surgery . He is now home and recovering. With his line of work, in sales, he does not have short term disability or sick time. This gofund me account is designed to help him and Alice in a time of need to cover monthly expenses and medical bills. He is expected to be out of work for a couple months and until then will be without an income. Any contributions big or small are truly appreciated! If you know Mike and Alice, you know they would do anything for anyone! Please consider helping them in this time of need. Please also continue to pray for him as he recovers!
