Mike Days road to Vegas 8ball World Championships

My name is Michelle Templeton and I'd like to introduce to you one of the most dedicated people I know in APA, MIKE DAY. He is one of our original team members from the very beginning . He's been playing APA for 10 years or more now. We have watched people turn him down time and time again simply because they underestimate his ability to shoot pool.  He has never gave up and overcome many obstacles just to play in the great sport we all know as Billiards. The sportsmanship and love that he shows everyone has touched all of us in Southern Illinois.  As most of you now know he recently won the Regional competition held at Marion Harley Davidson and will now be going to Las Vegas to represent Southern Illinois in the World Championships for 8ball!!! A journey like this for someone in his situation is not cheap. I know many of you understand financial situations being tight as we all have been there. However, if you would like to see this young mans dream come true and represent us in Vegas here's your chance! No matter how small or big the donation all is greatly appreciated!  There are many expenses involved with getting him there. Some examples are: transportation to and from airports that are wheelchair accessible, airfare to and from Vegas , extra fees for wheelchair accessible hotel rooms, food and drinks while there, green fees/money for tables to practice on, and much more. If there's any money left over we hope to purchase him a lift or some sort of hauling device for his wheelchair on our truck. This will eliminate having to rent one or borrow one every time he has a tournament that's not local.  So many of our fellow pool players have helped him in his journey, from paying entry fees, loaning trailers, to being his caddy. Thank you all (you know who you are!) I know he appreciates all of you more then you realize!!!
