Baby Mika Santana's Medical Fund

Baby Mika has a genetic disease called Dicer 1 syndrome. Tiessa, Chonito, Brae and Elli also have the same disease. Luckily, Tiessa, Chonito and Elli have never had any symptoms, but Brae had to have her kidney removed when she was 2 years old. Recent testing at UCSF showed a cyst (pleuropulmonary blastoma "PPB") on Mika's lung, which has to be surgically removed. Mika is scheduled for surgery to remove the cyst later this week, and she will be in the hospital for at least 5-7 days. Tiessa and Chon will both need to take time off of work to care for Mika. Chon is self-employed, and taking time off of work creates an unexpected financial hardship for the family. Those of us who love the Santana family want to make this difficult situation as easy as possible for them. Any donation to help the Santana family is greatly appreciated!!!!
