Help Mikalyn get autism medical care and education

Hi, our names are Amanda and Michael Davis and we are the proud parents of Mikalyn Patience Davis. Mikalyn has been diagnosed with autism with an intellectual disability, sensory processing disorder and epilepsy. We are raising money to help fund both her educational needs (school and therapies) as well as her ongoing medical needs.

James Oaks Memorial - (December 25, 1958 - July 5, 2023)

Something that James and Sandy moved to Nashville to help with was their loving grandchildren, specifically to help share the added responsibility that comes with raising a child (their grandchild Mikaylin) with a significant disability. Being with Mikalyn was a great joy for James and seeing her thrive at Illuminate Academy (a school created for children with Autism) gave him peace this past year. Despite tuition of $20,000 being a leap of faith for us (Amanda and Michael), James and Sandy supported us as much as they were able. We know that James would only have hoped for support to continue this next year for Mikalyn to be safe and supported at Illuminate Academy. Additionally, we hope to purchase a life-saving therapy dog trained to respond to Mikalyn's seizures.
