Hi. My name is Mikaela Stewart, and I am training to be a professional ballerina.
I am sixteen years old, and have been dancing for thirteen years. I am currently training at the California Professional Ballet Program.
For the last two summers, I have been able -- with your generous help -- to study at the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. I am so excited to have been accepted into the program again this summer!

With this fundraiser, I am hoping to raise money to help pay for the tuition, my room and board, public transportation (I'll be taking the ferry into the city each day), as well as for my many, many pairs of pointe shoes.
As a thank you for your support, I will be offering some fun gifts. Everyone who donates will receive a postcard from New York City. I am also giving away ballet photo prints (photos by my mom!) and personalized canvas tote bags.
Your support means the world to me, and I am so very grateful for the encouragement and love you have shown me over the years.
