Miguel’s Fight to Beat the Odds and to Continue Providing for His Family

Our dear friend, Miguel, is battling stage 4 cancer.

A wonderfully kind-hearted and dedicated family man, Miguel works tirelessly to support his wife and two daughters, working as a custodian at our office complex in Santa Ana, California. Being the fighter and family-provider that he is, he continues to work whenever he’s not undergoing treatment.  But the bills he and his family are facing are staggering.     

In addition to his medical hardship, his wife recently lost her job because of the time she’s had to take off in order to help Miguel through his array of doctor visits, surgeries, and chemo treatments.

Matters got even worse this month, when the owner of their apartment building informed Miguel that he and his family must move out in two months! (Apparently, the owner wants to convert the apartment building into something new.)

Further complicating his cancer battle – which started in his bladder and has since spread to his lungs and brain – is the fact that he’s diabetic.   

Yet, despite all he’s facing, Miguel continues to share his warm smile and generous spirit with everyone around him, every day, without fail. Whether you’re a friend or just a random passerby, he’s always quick to greet you with a friendly hello. And should you look lost or in need of something, he’ll be the first to ask how he can help you.

Miguel’s a man quite dignity, genuine humility, and extraordinary heart.  His odds are long, but he’s not giving up! With Miguel’s blessing and input, we’ve created this GoFundMe page for him. The funds go directly to Miguel to help him and his family prevail through the mounting medical bills and associated hardships.
