Miguel Gomez Memorial Scholarship for his daughter

Miguel Gomez was the heart and soul of the FarmHill Equestrian Center for twenty years. With his devoted wife Juanita, he skillfully managed the care of 40 premium show horses and met the diverse needs of their doting owners. In addition, Miguel was a core member of the greater community in Clark County, Washington. If you had any kind of need on your farm or ranch, Miguel was instantly there with the right tool and a comforting smile, ready to fix whatever was wrong.
When Miguel finally succumbed to the liver disease that he had successfully fought for over 30 years, our community not only lost a cherished mainstay, but Juanita lost her cherished husband, and their daughter Jaunty lost the father whose income could have ensured that her dreams of becoming “a doctor or maybe a teacher” would come true.
Your donations to this site will establish a GET (Guaranteed Education Tuition) fund, administered by the state of Washington (https://wastate529.wa.gov/howgetworks). This GET fund, along with the scholarships that Jaunty hopes to earn, will enable her to bring to life her professional dreams, which are also the dreams that Miguel and Juanita have cherished for her.
We, the members of the extended FarmHill community, hope you will join us in helping this smart, determined, and deeply motivated little girl become the strong professional woman that she and her parents dreamed she could be…but that she may not be able to become in the absence of her beloved papa’s support.

Miguel Gómez fue el corazón y el alma del FarmHill Equestrian Center durante veinte años.
