Mighty Miller Campaign

Calling all supporters everywhere! We need your help. My mom was diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer a few months ago. Within those few months, her battle has quickly turned for the worst.

My mom, Tammy Miller, has struggled with disabilities since she was born. People have not expected her to live past childhood. She was persistent and fought to live the best life she could. She managed to take on one of the toughest jobs out there, a teacher. She is an inner-city school teacher, for Detroit Public Schools. She LOVES her kids!! Her passion in teaching lasted over 20 years, until she started doing her chemo treatments.

She was introduced to a chemo treatment called, "The Red Devil," which weakened her so much it almost killed her on the first dose. This had her go to the hospital and physical rehab for almost a month. She has become so weak that now it has become a challenge to do simple tasks such as laundry and even dishes. She now can't go back to her teaching job and is facing a lot of debt from bills. Insurance only covers a fraction of the medical bills she is accumulating. She is out of sick days from her job.

If I could give my mom anything, it would be the things she needs to stay at her home she worked so hard for to keep. Time is of the essence because soon companies will shut off our necessities, (electric, gas, etc.) All she wants is to keep her home and family together.
