Welcome to Team Megan! My name is Linda McGonigal, proud Aunt and Godmother of Megan More. In early July my sister Maureen and her husband Brian received news no parent wants to hear, their daughter Megan has been diagnosed with Leukemia.
Almost immediately the offers of help began to pour in -- Brian and Maureen are overwhelmed by the kindness and incredibly grateful for all of the support the community has already shown. Family, friends, the Roosevelt School community, the residents of the Town of Kearny and beyond have all joined Team Megan!
Although the prognosis is good, Megan has a two to three year fight ahead of her and during that time Maureen will step away from her professional life to focus completely on Megan’s recovery. We’ve set up this page to ease the stress of the loss of income and because so many of you have reached out to ask, “How can I help?”
