Foot and Ankle team of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush has teamed up with non-profit company Our Hearts to Your Soles!
Since 2007 our team of doctors has been working to serve the greater Chicago area. This event provides much needed medical foot exams, footwear, socks and more to those in need in Chicago.
We are inviting our community to be apart of this event by way of donation. As we approach the winter and holiday season, it is important to be able to provide these services to those in need. A 2016 analysis by the Chicago Coalition found that there are 80,384 people currently homeless in Chicago, IL.
Your donations will go towards the purchase of a variety of winter boots, socks, foot powders and cream to distribute to the many that seek treatment at this event. JUST $20 WILL BUY A PAIR OF SHOES, MOST OF WHICH WE RUN OUT OF EVERY YEAR BEFORE EVERYONE CAN BE TREATED!
The doctors at Midwest Orthopaedics happily and generously donate their time each year to set up, and treat those in need.
This year the event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The event is right around the corner, this is why we ask you, our patients, family, friends and neighbors to help us reach our goal this year!
