Midtown Cinema Staff Relief Fund

Midtown Cinema's temporary closure during this rapidly-changing health crisis is affecting the finances of our amazing, creative, welcoming staff members who "keep the reels running" every day. The Cinema is committed to paying all of its staff for two weeks, but an extended closure requires a furlough since expenses continue to mount with revenue vastly reduced.  

Will you--our loyal members, patrons and community--help our team through this incredibly challenging time?

You have gotten to know many of our coworkers throughout the years as they have welcomed you to the latest first-run, foreign, and classic films. They love movies and are dedicated to Midtown Cinema, and bringing independent film to Harrisburg. Many of them are filmmakers, themselves. But they depend on this job to pay rent and buy groceries. Will you contribute? 

This fund will be used for immediate emergency needs like groceries, rent, and medical costs, among the team members that have been furloughed for an unknown amount of time. Funds will be disbursed by Adam via Venmo weekly.

The Midtown Cinema team is a family. But even families need help from friends and neighbors now and then. This is one of those times.
