In the midst of this pandemic we have seen how our undocumented communities have continued to be put on the sidelines. Our immigrant undocumented families and neighbors are at risk without access to unemployment benefits, sick pay, or health insurance.
En medio de esta pandemia, hemos visto como nuestra comunidades indocumentadas son puestos a un lado. Nuestras familias y vecinos indocumentados están a riesgo sin acceso a beneficios de desempleo, pago por enfermedad, o seguro médico.
Without access to these benefits, our community workers and families have been left in the dark.
Today we ask you to stand with our community and pledge to donate towards this fund.
This fund will be used to help our community members with things like groceries, childcare, utilities, and rent payments.
Sin acceso a estos beneficios nuestros trabajadores comunitarios y nuestras familias están en la oscuridad. Hoy les pedimos que se unan con nuestra comunidad y hagan un compromiso de donar a este fondo. Este fondo se usará para ayudar a nuestros miembros de la comunidad con víveres, cuidado de niños, utilidades, y pagos de renta.
The funds will be distributed by MIX members who will be in contact with community applicants to help make sure we are able to help with as much as we can during these times while also sharing resources from across the area to best meet the needs of workers, parents, families, and neighbors.
Los fondos serán distribuidos por miembros de Los MIX quienes estarán en contacto con los applicantes de la comunidad para asegurarnos que podemos ayudar todo lo posible durante estos tiempos y también compartir recursos diferente organizaciones del área para ayudar las necesidades de los trabajadores, padres, familias, y vecinos.
