Microtrolysis to be more functional
I find it hard to promote this kind of campaign as it trigger a lot of anxiety but I have reached a point where dealing with my facial hairs hinder a lot my life.
I wrote this some days ago but I was too shy to share it. My friend Sophy B encouraged me to create a Go Fund Me campaign to collect enough money to start my microtrolysis hair removal. As a trans woman this mean a lot to me as I already have to deal with shaving and wearing a wig. If I can at least get rid of the shaving I will feel a bit more like a normal person and it will be far easier for me to be able to be myself everyday and to go out, do things, meet people and maybe find work. Or simply be more self-confident and productive.
The thing is that my skin is too sensitive and even while taking good care of it with creams and wet shaving it easily irritate and cut. Sometime I have to let my skin cool down for a few days after shaving and this cut me from myself and prevent me from being able to see people. This undermine a lot my self confidence and trigger depression episodes. This hinder my ability to find work or to be productive (it prevent me from earning money to pay for the hair removal and it become a vicious circle). When I go out I also always fear and worry that my beard shadow show up under my makeup and it stress me a lot.
Laser hair removal wont work on me and I need to use microtrolysis, microtrolysis hair removal is around 2000$ to 3000$. I already received a 500$ donation and if I can collect 2000$ I will be able to start the hair removal without fear of interruption for low income issues.

Je suis une femme transgenre en transition et j'ai besoins de financement pour débuter l'épilation par microtrolyse des poils de mon visage pour avoir accès à mon visage et à une vie normale.
Ma situation: malgré mes soins, la peau de mon visage reste trop sensible et fait en sorte qu'il est difficile pour moi de me raser de près plusieurs jours consécutifs. Je dois souvent laisser ma peau se reposer entre les rasages et pendant cette période je n'ai pas accès à mon visage, ce qui m'empêche de sortir ou de voir des gens.
Un cercle vicieux: cette situation me stress énormément et fait en sorte qu'il est difficile pour moi d'être fonctionnelle et de me trouver un emploi. Sans emploi je n'arrive pas à financer mon épilation et sans épilation je n'arrive pas à me trouver (et à maintenir) un emploi.
L'épilation par microtrolyse me donnerait accès à mon visage à tous les jours, réduirait mon stress et augmenterait ma confiance en moi, ce qui me permettrait de me trouver un emploi et d'être une personne fonctionnelle.
Pourquoi la microtrolyse? L'épilation par laser n'est pas efficace pour les poils blancs et n'est pas conseillé pour ma peau. La microtrolyse est la seule technique d'épilation qui serait efficace à 100% pour moi.
Les coûts: l'épilation du visage coûte entre 2000$ et 3000$. J'ai déjà un reçu un don de 500$ pour financer mon épilation. Je gagne présentement ma vie comme travailleuse autonome mais j'arrive à peine à payer mon loyer et sans revenus fixe il est difficile pour moi d'économiser de l'argent pour financer mon épilation. Si j'arrive à réunir 2000$ je pourrai débuter l'épilation sans craindre d'interruptions.
Pouvoir être moi-même à tous les jours, sans me soucier des poils de mon visage, m'aiderait grandement à m'épanouir et par la suite à redonner aux autres.
