Micropreemies Meredith & Bodie

Hi, my name is Montana. I am fundraising to help my sister in law Bethany and her husband Beau, who were surprised by the very premature birth of their miracle micro-preemie Twins Meredith and Bodie on June 11, 2022. Meredith and Bodie were born at 25 weeks gestation via emergency c-section due to a placental abruption and preterm labor weighing 1.9 lbs and 1.14 lbs. Doctors and nurses have predicted the next few months to be a roller coaster ride for the both of them with many dips, uphill climbs, and sharp turns. Meredith is currently very unstable while still relying on the ventilator for breathing, bleeding on both sides of her brain and MRSA all through out her little body. Bodie is currently breathing more on his own with help from a CPAP, but still has bleeding on the brain as well. Transfusions and blood draws are also part of their journey. Nevertheless, they are expected to be in the best hands at Forsyth Medical Center NICU for 3-4 months!

Bethany and Beau have been spending most of their waking hours with Meredith and Bodie in the NICU, missing work and therefore pay. Beau will be going back to work, but Bethany will stay with Meredith and Bodie in the NICU full-time.
