MicroFusion Robotics

Through hard work, MicroFusion has been selected as one of only 48 teams to compete in the FIRST LEGO League LEGOLAND Open International competition.  The International competition will be held May 15-17 in Carlsbad, California.  The cost to get our team and equipment to the competition will be substantial.  We are asking for the community's help in getting us to LEGOLAND and come home champions

Our amazing team is made up of 4th through 7th graders from Helena, Montana.  Our team designs and builds bots using the EV3 platform. Every year they are challenged to use STEM to solve a real-world problem. Students must research and develop a solution using their knowledge and creative imagination. They then must design, program and build a working robot to complete missions on a table with a playing field. Students apply science, technology, engineering and math concepts to solve a real-world problem.

MicroFusion is part of Fusion Robotics.  Fusion Robotics is an independent student-based robotics team, that strives to participate within the spirit of FIRST. We want everyone to learn the value of teamwork as well as be involved, share ideas. We believe strongly in the engineering process and that planning and teamwork are the two most important aspects of this process. Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills.
