My Goddaughter who lives with her family in Ensenada
Mexico was anxiously awaiting their first child, a daughter. All was going well when she had an unexpected complication, and was rushed to the hospital which is the only one in the town able to provide care for a premature baby. For three days she was given medication to help speed up the growth of the baby's lungs to give the child a better chance. On 9/4/18 the baby had to be delivered by C-section at only 29 weeks, almost 10 weeks premature, weighing only 2.2 lbs. (1 kilogram). Baby will be in the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital for 11 weeks receiving the necessary care to grow strong enough to go home with her parents. Please keep the baby & family in your prayers. We are grateful for any donations which will help relieve the stress of mounting medical bills affecting the parents, and allow mom to focus on baby.
Please be assured that all donations will be used for the baby's medical needs including the NICU hospital costs, doctors, tests, & medications. The medical insurance does not cover these costs at this hospital which is the only one in Ensenada able to provide care for this precious little one.
I will withdraw funds on behalf of the parents and transfer those funds directly to them for payment of medical bills.
