Micky Bennett Jnr - Fundraiser

Micky Bennett age 11 has recently been diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and is currently receiving Chemotherapy treatment at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
T-Cell acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia (T-ALL) is a rarer specific type of leukaemia…it affects the lymphoid-cell-producing stem cells, in particular a type of white blood cell called T lymphocytes as to opposed to acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) which commonly affects B lymphocytes.
Micky, his Mum Lisa Bennett (Hicks), Dad David Bennett and sisters Chantelle, Kharis and Rosslyn need our help.
Lisa has always been the first person to step up when anyone has needed her. She is well known for her charity work in our own community, raising thousands of pounds for numerous causes. She also has her own serious health issues battling Lupus, always with a smile on her face, never complaining....its now our turn to show her that we are there for her..... we have her back…..we have Micky’s back ❤️
We all have no doubt that Micky is going to beat this……there is no question of that…he is a champ after all❤️ ….BUT we also want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure that he does. We want to look look into alternative therapies, nutritional therapies etc…this all costs money. We also want to make sure that Lisa and Dave are not worrying about money when they need to be concentrating on Micky….. but more than anything we need to make sure that we have a ‘back-up plan’ - in that if the family decide at any point that they need or would like a 2nd opinion abroad we have the money available to make that happen immediately.
The family have already been blown away by the love and support that everyone is showing for Micky. They are forever grateful. They have had people raising money off their own backs and asking where to put it so here it is!!!!
