Hello you beautiful people! Like all other bars and restaurants, Mickey's shut down mid-March, amid sudden rise of the Covid-19 crisis. Unlike some other businesses, we opted to take it cautiously in reopening. Sure enough, with the early openings and lack of mandated protocols, WI and Dane County has seen a significant rise in cases.
Several of our employees were NOT able to get Unemployment and even the ones who did are struggling financially. With the end of the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Stimulus (which ended July 25), and the unknown status of this pandemic, many of us could be facing evictions, utility shut-offs and day to day living hardships.
While we do plan a very limited version of re-opening (w/limited hours) in a week or 2 (please stay tuned to our facebook page), we are only able to staff a very, very small fraction of the approx. 40 employees. And the employees who will be staffed will possibly NOT EVEN GET PT. TIME HOURS.
We so look forward to taking care of you again, like we did before. Please help take care of us?
