Mickey We Love You

For those of you who were lucky enough to know Mickey, "Mick", "Mickers", "Pig", "Love Boy" then you know how special he was.  He was especially loved by my sister and brother-in-law who are heartbroken by the fact he was playing yesterday...and today they have to put him to sleep due to a spreading mass that unfortunately can't be removed due to its size.  I'm asking for help because I know how much of you were touched by Mickey. Even if you've never met him, you know that to my sister and Jason, this dog was like a son.  Mickey got them through some of the hardest times (ie: death in the family, trouble getting pregnant, and just the daily stressors in life.)   Although buying their first house this year was such a blessing, it was a very tough move from Humarock to Pembroke for them. Trying to figure out how to make sure Mickey was able to get weekly visits back to Humarock to visit Jason's Mom Mary, sisters Nicole and Emily, and neighborhood dog friends was the trickiest part of it all.  They did it with ease, going out of their way to keep him happy, even with a newborn baby in tow.  Mickey has always been the center of their universe.  Heartbroken is an understatement when describing how these two are feeling today and and months going forward.  Any donation, big or small, will help, emotionally and financially, to alleviate the stress that putting a dog to sleep has on a couple who is new to balancing a baby and a new mortgage payment.   On behalf of Mickey's family, I can't thank you enough for any contribution you are able to make.
