Michelle’s Medical & Travel

Michelle was recently diagnosed with stage 3C clear cell ovarian cancer, a rare and nasty disease. Last month she went to the hospital with what she thought were severe stomach pains, and hours later had her first of two surgeries to remove as much of the cancer as the doctors could, along with a full hysterectomy and appendectomy.

She faces several months of intense chemotherapy and is fighting for her life. She has health insurance, but unfortunately still faces thousands of dollars in medical bills and potential travel expenses. She isn't able to work and her future is uncertain. She's always wanted to visit Italy, and if she's feeling well enough at some point is hoping to make that trip a reality.

Michelle has dedicated her life to helping others in need. She is a counselor for at risk children in Philadelphia who have experienced trauma, and she is my brother’s beautiful wife. They are both trusting God through this challenging time, regardless of the outcome.
