Help Pay for Eye Surgery Bill! :)

My name is Michelle Allen. I am 29 years old. I don't really want to have to do this but I am in a huge financial crisis. I'm needing an eye procedure to stop the progression of my eye disease Keratoconus. No Doctor in Kansas City area can do this procedure yet. It is not approved by FDA. I have done lots of research and this procedure has helped thousands of people including Steve Holcomb the Olympic Bobsledder. This procedure is going to cost me approximately 17k dollars with no help from insurance. I'm lost at what to do at this point. I'm going to be paying for this procedure for rest of my life, but it is something that has to be done to stop me from getting to the point of a Corneal Transplant. I want to live a normal life. Since I was diagnosed with KC when I was 14 yrs old I've struggled on a daily basis. I can't walk out of my house without putting my eyes into consideration. I do not like to drive after dark. Once the sun goes down it's even more of a challenge. I truly feel like my life has been robbed from me for the past 15 yrs. It is a struggle daily to see. I also travel to Houston, Texas to get contacts because that is the closest place that can fit me with my Prose Devices which are Scleral Lenses. They help but don't stop progression.

I know everyone has their own financial problems, just donating a dollar will mean the world to me. I have tried to seek out any help by insurance etc. all I get is a denial letter.
