Hello Friends,
Thank you for your interest! As you may or may not know I have been accepted to do a DTS program (Disciple Training School) called AWAKEN in Kona, Hawaii. Awaken program is 6 month long school with the main focus to awaken people them into their callings. Also, this program will teaching ways to hear God's voice, help find your identity in Christ, how to study and communicate God's word effectively, and learn cross-cultural ministry. The first 3 months of DTS is lectures and practical training classes equipping us for the last 3 months of outreach program, where we get to go to unknown locations to preach the good news, baptize new believers, and heal the sick (Mark 16:15-18).
I am really excited to be able to get this amazing opportunity to go to YWAM, and help discover my purpose in life. The reason I felt called to do the ministry program AWAKEN is because not only do I want to find my identity in Christ, but help others find theirs. According to Ephesians 1, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing, we have chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, grace-lavished, and unconditionally loved and accepted. WE are pure, blameless, and forgiven. I struggled with putting my identity in sports, relationships, and what society tells what I should be, but instead I am putting my faith in Christ, and experience God's unconditional and reckless love. Also, help decide my purpose after college and see how God will use and shape me in these next seasons. God saved me when I was at my lowest, and I want to be able to show others that he can too no matter where you are from or how money you make or if made some unforgivable mistakes, he will always CHOOSE YOU First.
It doesn't feel real to describe this opportunity to powerfully encounter God and take the joy, freedom, and immeasurable love I've found in him to the broken hearts, hungry for his presence and healing love.
The date I would be leaving for Kona, Hawaii would be July 4th of 2019. My lecture date would be July 4th- September 20th, 2019 and my outreach would be September 21st- December 12th, 2019. The cost include $3,700 for lecture and outreach would be around $5,395. The cost will cover my housing, meals, lecture cost, plane tickets, visas, and any immunizations I might need for each country I visit.
Would you be willing to take this big step of faith and willing to partner with me in prayer and/or financial support? My goals is to be fully funded before June 2019. I would be incredibly grateful for your support, however the Spirit leads you!
