Michelle's Moving Fund

As most of you know, Michelle has been my best friend since we met way back in the 5th grade. Our lives have run parallel to the point that our sons were born 11 days apart – and her son Eddie was born on my birthday.  We have laughed together, cried together, and suffered multiple hangovers together for what is (unbelievably) nearly 40 years.  I cannot imagine my life without having had her friendship and support.

 As some of you may already know, Michelle has been offered a long term contracting job as a desktop technician supporting MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa FL.  This is a great opportunity for her to get her foot in the door in the Cyber Security field, and she has absolutely worked her behind off for this.  Over the past few years, she has earned 3 degrees – one in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, one in Network Administration, AND one in Homeland Security.  This is all VERY exciting, and I am beyond proud of her!

The catch (and the reason for the GoFundMe account) is that she starts work on November 5th, so in a month’s time, she will need to:

·         Find an apartment and pay the application fee, deposit, and first & last month’s rent

·         Coordinate the actual move from Ohio to Florida and pay for a moving truck, as well as hired labor to help with the heavy lifting

·         Drive from Ohio to Tampa (with a quick stop in ATL along the way)

We all know how expensive moving can be!  Michelle is currently working 2 jobs in order to get the funds together, but there is NO way that she will be able to have enough to cover all of the moving expenses in just over 4 weeks.  She would NEVER ask any of you for help, which is why I’m reaching out to our FB friends and family.  Anything you all can do to help this amazing, hardworking, driven, WONDERFUL woman will be GREATLY appreciated.  Thank You!
