What should have been a fun family trip for Michelle, her grand daughter and son Brad to Ceder Point a few weeks ago ended up being a sad tragedy. Their first night there Michelle got a knock on her door saying Brad fell down the stairs. He is now fighting for his life in a hospital in Ohio.
Michelle has been in Ohio with Brad for a few weeks now with family joining her when they can but Michelle and Brad need to get closer to home where can get the support they need.
This is where we can all help. If and when Brad is stable enough she is hoping to get him to a hospital closer to home. Right now she is working on all the insurance stuff. Insurance won't cover him being transported to Muskegon. They will cover up to 50 miles from the hospital to the nearest LTC facility. NO ONE is prepared for something like this. I am reaching out to you today so as friends and family we can help Michelle continue to focus on Brad and not to have to worry about the cost.
