Hi my name is Erin and I am fundraising for my mother, Michelle.

My mom’s journey with cancer is coming to an end. It’s not always the end we want, but it is the end that frees her of all the pain, chemicals and yuck to her body. She’s been dealing with cancer off and on since 2012. She did so good in remission until January of this year. They removed part of her lung where the cancer was but it was in the tissues. It’s spread so fast in the last month that it’s beyond help. She did chemo for 3 cycles before they had to stop. It didn’t help. It’s spreading and it won’t stop.

The doctors are saying less than 3 months when she goes home tomorrow (8/28). So we are trying to get funds together to help with the upcoming end of life needs and for her funeral expenses when she passes.

She doesn’t have life insurance as she couldn’t afford it on such a small income with my dad. She will leave behind My father, who is a stroke survivor and is half paralyzed. This will leave him with medical bills and other expenses to cover. Both are disabled and can’t work.

I hate to have to do this but they just need some help. We know money is tight for most. We wouldn’t ask if we could help take care of it all.
