Michelle Duenes (Borsetto)-Medical

On Aug 5th 2018, Michelle (40yrs old) was rushed to the ER and quickly admitted to ICU with a life threatening infection (Sepsis) stemming from a Staph infection.  She was placed on life support as her body was on overload trying to fight the infection along with suffering several strokes.  A team of doctors worked to save her life over the next several weeks through surgeries and the use of strong antibiotics.  At the time, doctors could provide no guarantees that she would survive, let alone be able to talk, walk or lead a normal life again.

By God’s healing power, the love and support of family and friends, and Michelle’s fighting spirit, she is on the road to recovery.  Michelle is able to talk now and is learning to walk again, battling through paralysis of her arms and legs.  Also, she is still receiving treatment for the infection. Doctors are calling her a miracle and everyone around her would agree!!

 Michelle will now need months of therapy and medical support in a rehabilitation hospital to fully recover.   As you can imagine, the medical expenses for Michelle’s care throughout this battle will be large, so your donations will go directly to support her needs.  She is a loving mother to a 17yr old daughter and 20yr old son and has been married to her husband Rick for 20 yrs.  This has been a life-altering experience and we hope this campaign lifts some of the financial burden from their shoulders.
