Michelle and Delaney's Beach Trip

My best friend Michelle Phillips has been fighting stage IV breast cancer. She was diagnosed in November 2014 and has since had surgeries, radiation treatments and several variations of chemotherapy and hormone therapy which helped in her fight against this horrible disease. Since the cancer has metastasized to other areas the treatments have increased in both intensity and length. In the coming weeks she will receive a new chemotherapy, a very intense and strong chemo, which is expected to create a lot of side effects that will make traveling impossible.

She is not aware of this post and I was hesitant to say or do anything as we all know Michelle is a woman of pride and privacy BUT - I also know she has one hope - to become well enough to enjoy the sunshine and beach with her daughter, Delaney, who has never seen the ocean. The plan is to go in the next couple of weeks while she has the strength to get there and enjoy a much needed break from the doctors and hospital.

There is nothing more important to her than to be able to spend some quality time with her daughter and family before she comes back to begin the next round of treatments and continue with her fight!

 So, since I don't have the means to do this myself, I'm asking for a little help to fund her trip to Florida!
