Michele Muccio Memorial Fund

My sister was suddenly ripped away from us this past Saturday night as she was coming home from a high school show, where she finished up the 2nd night of raising money for the school.

As my sister was driving herself and my niece home, they encountered someone with some road rage. My sister didn't pay the driver any mind, and she continued on with a drive that she has done countless times. Unfortunately for us, the driver did not have any consideration for others and they cut them off to get off the interstate, resulting in my sister losing control of the car, and then that was it..my sister is gone...taken away from us suddenly.

I thank God that my niece came out of it relatively unharmed, physically. I know for a fact that within that split second, my sister made a deal for her to be taken as long as her baby was safe. I'm so sure of it because that is exactly her personality and what her priorities were.

Everyone who knows Michele knows that her priorities were her family & pups, her friends that are family to us, her cheer teams, her parish, her jobs, her community work, and just about anything else she could do, then she would give some attention to herself; mostly laughing at the newest selfie filters, catching up on her shows, and being ready to spontaneously cook up enough food because people would just randomly start showing up at her house.

She has been the rock of our family, keeping us strong since our mother past away over 20 years ago. She has been the glue keeping our family together when all the road bumps of life came up. Our family is truly at a loss on what to do because she was always the one with the plan on what we need to do no matter what the situation was. She knew what needed to be done, how to get it done, and who was best for each task. She was one person doing the jobs of 30 people in a single day, and she never once complained about it.

She was an incredible strength in my life since I was a helpless kid, and through my years of being a lost adult. My sister and I lost our best friend, our big sister was literally everything to us and now we have to learn how to keep on going without her. I know for a fact there are dozens of people that feel the same way because that's who she was, everyone's fearless leader.

Having to refer to her in the past tense is incredibly unfair, and it truly shouldn't be the case. But from here, our family is going to continue to promote the tremendous legacy that she has created, and her name and spirit will be remembered forever.

This page is being started to assist with the funeral costs; and whatever is left will be used for her daughters and husband to manage finances during this time.

Any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated. All I ask is that with your donation you send a prayer, and remember that every choice you make has an impact on others - so live your life wanting the best for everyone, and not just yourself.
