Michael"s Cancer fight

My name is Monique Green and I'm married to Michael Green whom we have 2 small children Georgia & Joseph. Michael was diagnosed with left sinus adenoid cystic carcinoma in December 2008 and underwent chemo and radiation in January 2009. This type is cancer has no cure and is slow growing which is good in young people however sadly the last lot of scans have shown an extensive growth of the cancer which has progressed further on his left side, he has innumerable metastasis in the lungs and now 2 metastasis on the L2 vertebra. The doctors have told us he has another good 5 years but after that they cannot put a timeframe on it. So our latest treatment plan consists of chemo with a possible immunotherapy trial. Unfortunately the chemo is hitting Michael hard and he has not been able to work for the past 2 weeks and with possibly another 4 more weeks of chemo and possibly weekly immunotherapy infusions his working career in unknown. I work four days a week but unfortunately my wage isn't enough if Michael has to give up work. I am a very proud independent mother and working women and don't like asking for help but with a small family and massive fight to do everything we can to help mick beat this cancer battle and give him a longer life span, I'm setting up this page.
