Michael Whetsell

In September, Michael was diagnosed with stage 2 B testicular cancer.  Michael and I are so fortunate to have so many friends and family members that want to support us. At first, I was shocked by all of the offers of financial support. I am not a proud person, but I truly doubted that we would have any need. We know that Michael's cancer diagnosis has an excellent curability rate, but we are unsure of how Michael will react to the months of chemo. Due to the chemo schedule (and really the unknown), Michael is going to be taking some time off of work to focus on full recovery. We will use any funds raised to fill in the gaps between paychecks and to pay for those unexpected expenses that seem to be a part of this kind of journey.  Any remaining funds will be donated to Livestrong, an organization that is helping us through this process. Thank you to everyone who has offered their support in so many ways.  We love you.
