Imagine....life is good. You are in love with the woman of your dreams, raising your beautiful family, living in a safe home, and working for a trucking company that allows you to be home every night with those you hold closest to your heart.

Then a turn of events that will completely turn your world upside down....
In one year's time.....
-17 knee procedures
-Job loss
-3 stomach operations - resulting in the removal of your stomach and 4 inches of your esophagus
-The discovery of Stage 3 Stomach Cancer
Family, friends, and strangers: Mike Gauthier has faced an unimaginable turn of events this last year. Mike has been unable to work for the last 12 months. This has placed major financial burdens upon his family. His wife is currently working 2 jobs to keep the lights on and food on the table. Mike has been blessed by financial support from his gracious family to keep their home and his medical insurance. While this has gotten them through the last 12 months, the medical bills are piling up and there is no relief in sight.
While Mike does have insurance, it does not cover:
The full cost of most specialists
Travel to appointments
The full cost of all medication and vitamins
The increased cost found in the diet that has been recommended by his doctors
As friend's of Mike, we see his good spirits through this extremely tough time. He has managed to keep his sense of humor and zest for life. His family is his driving force to wake up every day and make progress from the cancer that has taken up residence in his body.
We are asking for help for Mike and his family. If we can relieve some of the financial burden we believe Mike will be granted the peace of mind needed to fight the cancer and see great healing.
