Hospice care and funeral expenses

This Gofundme is regarding my dad, Michael P. Hayward, who is 63 years old and looking towards the end of his life due to an extremely aggressive stage 4 adenocarinoma, he is in no small amount of pain.  He is a lifelong man of faith, and honorably discharged Army veteran with time spent at the Site Summit missile defense base here in Alaska, husband of over 40 years, father of two and grandfather of  five.  He has never hurt anyone in his life.  As can happen with events like this, we are not as prepared as we should be and things are moving fast. 

   I am asking that anyone who feels inclined to offer us a donation to assist with making him as comfortable as we can and to help with hospice/burial expenses to please do so.  We are leveraging his veteran's burial benefits, but those don't do anything until my father reaches Ft. Rich Nat'l cemetery.

He has no hospice help from the VA or from Medicaid, their timetables are so far out that he may well pass before services fall into place, so he is having to deal with much more discomfort that he should be.  Anything, of course helps and we appreciate you taking the time.  Every dime received will go towards him and his care and burial expenses, excess funds will be donated to fellow veterans in similar straights.
