Michael Paulo Record project

I have been in the music for over 40 years. There has been so many changes in that time. When I first started artists could get support from a record company to help share their music.  When I started playing music it was because I loved playing the sax , It wasn't about fame and fortune. I have been very fortunate to have recorded a lot of music with many great people  in my career and make a living doing it . Today there is virtually no support from record companies for artists like myself to continue to share our songs and music . The reality is we get paid less and less for the music that we have recorded in the past that in turn has helped us to continue recording our songs. Today we get paid a fraction of a cent for a song that we recorded.I don't think many people realize this.  So many of us now depend on crowd funding to get our music heard. Where is the value in this? A world without music is like the sky without sunshine. I have been very fortunate to have touched the lives of many around the world with my perfomances and songs and I consider this a blessed gift to be able to do so. I have completed 60 percent of new songs I have recorded on my own and with the help of many friends who have contributed their time to my project . I hope this funding can compensate them and also provide the resources to complete my project . It's been 7 years snce my last recording and I have taken it as far as can and hope you can help me finish this. I have spent a lot of years helping to raise a lot of money for different charities and have always hesitated to ask for my own personal project.
