Michael Aveys Memorial Costs

My name is Daniel, the best friend of Michaels son, Mitch.

All money is being given to the Avey family. The gofundme was started by me, Daniel, in order to give the Aveys space and time to spend with their family. 


Some words from Mitchell:

"My father Michael Avey passed away suddenly 8/16/2018. He was a father of three sons, and a proud grandfather. Michael was diagnosed with stage four cancer earlier this year.

Michael moved to Florida a few years ago to be closer to his boys and spend more time with his grandson. 

The VA provided treatment because he didn't have healthcare. As his conditioned worsened he was unable to work. His sudden passing has been incredibly hard for me and my brothers.

We're asking for the generousity of our friends and family to help us cover some of his burial costs. Because he did not have life insurance, this burial has been a substainial finacial burden to us.

The funds are going to be used to pay for his burial, funeral home costs, and related bills.
