Therasuit Therapy for Michael and Matthew

On January 30, 2008 our 3rd and 4th children, Michael and Matthew came into the world 8 weeks early.  After spending 7 weeks in the NICU at Tallahassee Memorial they came home to us and their older brother and sister.  It wasn't till they were 1 year old that we suspected something was wrong and at 2 years old they were both diagnosed with cerebral palsy.  Cerebral palsy is an injury to the brain that causes loss of or impairment of motor function.  The brain damage is caused by brain injury or abnormal development of the brain that occurs while a child's brain is still developing "” before birth, during birth, or immediately after birth.
Michael and Matthew are now 4 1/2 years old and need a special therapy outside of their normal therapy called "Therasuit Therapy".  This intense, 3 week therapy will help to accelerate the progress they are already making in regular therapy, increase their mobility and ability.  The therapy is $6000 per child so our goal is to raise $12000 so they both can receive this groundbreaking therapy.  The therapy will lead to better progress for them and a better quality of life.
