Michaela's National Honor Choir Trip

Donation protected

Michaela was chosen to participate in the South Western National Honor Choir!
She is a tenth grade student who has dedicated her time and efforts to improve her vocal talents over the last two years,  Michaela is Autistic and uses music to help cope with anxiety, This level of competition requires dedication and hard work to acheive! Hours of practice, giving up free time with family and friends, spending after school and weekends to complete vocal training and meet the requirements was a huge commitment from Michaela.
She took a brave step and her first time ever, she auditioned along with 1100 students from 7 states. 600 were chosen.
For a child with Autism, this kind of pressure is daunting, but I am so very proud that she pushed herself to reach this level and she is beyond the moon with pride!  I feel she has found her voice through her music.
Please help her be part of this experience. She has worked hard fundraising all year, she volunteered this summer working 8 hour days for 2 weeks. So she could try out.  She still has far to go. As single parent of twins, I have given everything I can to allow them to experience all forms of growth, This honor is beyond what I can afford. I am reaching out to friends, family and anyone who feels touched by her efforts, Please consider helping her attend this very special event♡
