Michael's Chicken Farm

Jambo from Kenya!

WHO: Michael Musyoka has been our most trusted friend/gardener/guard in Kenya for two years.  He is smart, loyal and kind. He has five children that he loves with all of his heart and he puts 100% of his salary towards his family. In Kenya, families have to come up with the funds to cover food, uniforms and books. The Musyoka children dream of going to college especially his FOUR girls who all dream of becoming professionals-doctors, lawyers and teachers. We want to support the education of all children, especially GIRLS here in Africa!

WHAT: We are raising $3500 to make a family's dream of sending their five kids to college come true.  With this funding, Michael is building a chicken farm and entering into an agreement to supply eggs and chickens to one of Kenya largest poultry providers.

The chicken house foundation has been built and all that is left is the building walls, roof, fencing, and the chickens! People like Michael do not get the chance for business loans here and we believe that investing in Michael is an investment in the future of this family and beautiful country.

WHEN: Our goal is to raise the funds by Halloween. In early November we will go to the farm for the blessing of the building and will take some awesome pics and video.
