ASSP Greater Boston Chapter's Holiday Fund Drive
Donation protected
The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Greater Boston Chapter is pleased to announce our 2020 Pandemic Version of our Holiday Fund Drive. As safety professionals it is ingrained in us to help protect workers and everyday people in and out of the workplace. This year has relentlessly thrown unprecedented challenges protecting each other during a time of uncertainty.
In response to the immense need for help in the Greater Boston Area our fund drive will focus on supporting Rosie's Place and our local Healthcare Heroes.
Rosie's Place is an incredible organization that does invaluable work as the nation’s first shelter dedicated to supporting women at risk. The Greater Boston Chapter will be collecting donations and leveraging our relationships with trusted distributers and manufacturers of masks and hand sanitizer to help protect both Rosie's Place's at risk guests and staff by supplying them with their greatest need.
Any additional funds collected may also be used providing Rosie's Place's guests with holiday gifts in the form of $25 gift cards to CVS, Walgreens, Target, and/or Old Navy.
If you want more information on Rosie’s place and their great work you can visit their website at www.rosiesplace.org .
Our Healthcare Heroes have been tirelessly working to save lives and help people on a daily basis under unimaginable stress and conditions. The Greater Boston Chapter has partnered with local restaurants in the Boston area and is collecting donations to provide individually packaged meals to some of our local hospital's Emergency Room & COVID wing staff. Let’s help continue to recognize these heroes and say thank you in a way they always appreciate.
We thank you in advance for helping us support these local needs and bring the Holiday spirit to local people that really need and deserve it.
