Michael WILL Beat This

Hi, my name is Angelica Cash and I am one of the many people who love Michael and knows firsthand how kind, caring and giving he is.  Michael was recently diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma and has since endured extremely aggressive rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.  Even on the days he wasn’t feeling the greatest he still found a way to stay strong, positive and always had a kind word or smile for others. 

When Michael first told me about his diagnosis, it felt like my whole world was crashing down on me.  He talked to me and made ME feel better.  He told me, “I have a beautiful wife and children who need me, so I’m going to fight this”.  Knowing Michael’s love for kids, I knew he was telling the truth. He would fight with everything he had.  Michael was and will continue to be one of the best, male, role models my girls have had in their lives.  He was always there for those three little girls, as they were growing up.  He didn’t have to be.  But he was.  It’s who he is.  He gives of himself freely and without an expectation of receiving anything in return.

Michael always talks about how he couldn’t have undergone such aggressive treatment without the love, support and prayers he received from his friends and family.  Now it’s time for us to up our game a little bit and take that support to the next level.  With all the chemo and radiation behind him, the bills are starting to come in and pile up.  To add to their burden, Rachel, his beautiful wife, was just laid off so they have lost that source of income.  Michael and his family desperately need our help.  If you know Michael, you know that he would NEVER ask but that’s what friends are for.  Let’s take some unnecessary stress off him and his wife and help out with whatever we can. 

A few weeks ago Michael received good news from his scan and his friends and loved ones were overjoyed to hear there are no signs of cancer.  Hooray!  Please pour your love, thoughts and prayers into the Thornton family but let’s not forget to give financially as well.
