Michael Patrick Wallaker, affectionately known as Mikey and Little Mike in his youth, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the age of 40. Michael’s life was taken in a tragic, random act of violence in Naples, Florida where he was working at the time.
Michael is survived by his children Noah Wallaker (21) and Charlee Wallaker (10) who he loved dearly. This memorial fund will benefit Noah and Charlee, to help support their educational pursuits and ensure their needs are met.
Michael was loved by many for his huge heart, passion for life, and fearless pursuit of adventure. Growing up in Okinawa, Japan in a tight-knit military community and then on to Midland, Michigan and the greater Orlando area for his high school years, Michael forged strong family-like friendships in his youth that lasted long into adulthood. He was affectionately known to be the life of a party and could be counted on for enthusiastic participation in shenanigans of all sorts.
As an adult, Michael was known to be a hard worker, loving father, and committed friend. Throughout the ups and downs life threw at him, he worked to stay connected to family and friends in order to support them the best that he could. He will be sorely missed and was taken from this earth far too soon.
