Michael Tyree Tuck, 29, was a cherished, and committed, father, son, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was a kind man who always found a way to provide for those in need. He would give you the shirt off his back, put food in your fridge, and never hesitate to put money in your pocket.
On August 22, 2019, just two days after his birthday, his life was tragically taken from him after an altercation with the local police department. As an unarmed man, he was gunned down. Although this is devastating for us, his life will be celebrated with honor and not in vain.
As we mourn the passing of Michael due to an officer involved shooting, we respectfully request donations for home going service, burial, casket, and potential legal aid. We want this occasion to be special for our family and all those who loved him. Please don’t let us do this alone. We’d appreciate any contributions and we we will use this money to lay Michael to rest properly. All remaining funds will go to his 8 year old daughter and 1 year old son. Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
