My Cousin Mike is 28 years old. Mike was born and raised in Venice, Florida.
Cousin Mike has been through many obstacles in his life: From a couple of open-heart surgeries when he was a baby. To, after having graduated high school, Cousin Mike was diagnosed with (AML) Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After spending a year the hospital he came home to spend a normal life, but had relapsed a year later. He went back to the hospital and had gotten a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Now, 10 years after,Michael was seemingly in perfect health. Until recently in August of 2017 cousin Mike was told he has metastatic squamous-cell carcinoma in his chest and Lymph nodes. He had went to the ER with chest pains and the doctors found an abscess. Surgery the following day led to the discovery of the tumors that had metastasized into Michael's chest and lymph nodes.
Michael will be in Moffit Cancer Center to receive multiple procedures and treatments. Michael will be unable to work, while he is staying in the hospital, and his family is going through difficult times. Michael and his family could use all the prayers and help they can get.
