On November 28th 2017 the world lost a beautiful soul, the one and only Michael Kouremetis. Mike left us suddenly, and the purpose of this GoFundMe account is to help the Kouremetis family in their time of need, to lessen the financial burden that comes along with losing a loved one. This is our chance to show our undying love and whole-hearted appreciation for Mike’s friendship and kindness. Please consider making a donation, no matter how big or small it might be. Mike was a deeply caring individual, with unmatched charisma. He always spoke about his friends and family with the biggest smile. He would greet you with a hug and ask how you’ve been, how’s your family been? Those who knew him will tell you, he’s one of those friends that you turn to when you need a heart to heart conversation. Michael’s kindness and love didn’t stop there. If you know Mike you know he loved his cats, and took care of them with passion. He had many of his own, and even watched over strays in the neighborhood providing food, shelter, the occasional visits to the vet.
Mike loved music through and through. He had the most diverse taste in music we’ve ever seen, and could talk about music with anyone. He was eager to hear about your new favorite song or band, and always had some new music to share back with you. If you were in a long car ride or just hanging out, Mike was in control of the tunes. Mike was a musician himself and has played in many bands. Some of us even got to share the stage with him!
Mike will live on in a part of our hearts forever; in a place that no one else can claim. He had an impact on all of us, and I ask that you share a memory including Mike in the comments below so that his family and friends can revisit or discover all the great times he made possible.
