Michael Kelley's Cancer Fight

Hi all, the post below this one, is from my Aunt Kathy, my Dad's older sister. I'm too emotional at the moment to collect my thoughts. There's been several requests made by Dad's friends, on a way to help Dad, and suggested we create a "go fund me". This diagnose came about on Thanksgiving evening, when my family and I arrived at Dad's for Thanksgiving dinner and he didn't look well. I rushed him to the Emergency room within ten minutes of being at his house. We NEVER saw this coming. In total, he had 7 procedures, one at Florida hospital in Orlando where he was transported there for the day by ambulance, 46 hours of continuous chemotherapy, and spent 20 very long days in the hospital. He is now home, and on hospice, fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. There is nothing more we can do medically, at this point He was self employed, and does not have any medical insurance, he's one year shy of Medicare, and does not qualify for Medicaid. He’s generous, he’s loving, he’s caring. He has been a friend to his neighbors, and to complete strangers. He is a gentleman. He’s a greatson, brother, Dad & Papa. He has been here in Melbourne all his life. When he walks in Publix, Walmart, etc., many know him. He knows his mailman, city of Melbourne employees, the Waste Management guys. He’s a regular at That Little Restaurant. He is a regular in all events with his Class of ‘71. This wonderful person is my BIG little brother, Michael Kelley....He is finally home after being in the hospital since Thanksgiving. It was a heartbreaking to hear the doctors tell us that Michael has inoperable pancreatic cancer.We are asking for your prayers and your love.Michael’s medical expenses keep growing, already over $250,000. Michael would never ask anybody for anything, but I am asking for him. I have set up a Go Fund Me account for Michael. I know it’s Christmas & end of year expenses, but a little bit from a lot of you will bring joy to Michael.
