Hello, to all. My name is Michael Conklin and I'm a senior at Port Jervis High School. I have great news, that's the reason I'm reaching out to everyone. Just recently, I was invited to participate in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl at  Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium. This is a big honor. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play in an NFL stadium with NFL veterans as my coaches. The game will be nationally televised on Impact Football Network and I'll be competing against some of the nation's top prospects from the Class of 2017.  To start, more than 7,000 recruits this past year competed in the brand's nationwide series of All-American Combines with the hopes of earning a roster spot. I'm one of the 100 individuals that received an invite. I still can't believe it. I'm close to achieving a larger than life goal. In addition to doing well on the field, I take care of business off the field. In the classroom, I have a 3.8 GPA. I understand the importance of being a student-athlete. The game and grades go hand in hand. I could not have made it this far without the guidance of my parents, the rest of my family, as well as friends. The support from these very important people has put me in the position I'm at today. I'm hoping to raise enough money to cover the cost of the weekend-long trip to the All-American Bowl. Another thing, the exposure I'm receiving from playing in this game has started to open up doors for me to receive a football scholarship for college and continue my education. Now, the future looks promising for me. I'm on the right track. So, I'm humbly asking for donations for the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl and any dollar amount would be greatly appreciated. If you're unable to donate money, that's okay too. A simple prayer, or some words of encouragement, to help me along this path also works. Either way, I would like to thank each and every one of you for the support as I hopefully soon move one step closer to realizing this dream of mine. Again, I appreciate everyone.
