Hi everyone, Im Melissa. Michaels sister. I’m setting this up to help my brother through one of the worst times of his life.
Late Friday evening on 4/12, Michael was involved in a ATV accident that put him In critical condition in the ICU. He had to have emergency surgery for internal bleeding that was stopped with his spleen being removed. He has a punctured Lung, and every rib is broken. He also broke his clavicle bone in his left shoulder. He is on ventilator because he is unable to breath on his own. He will have to remain on the ventilator for a unexpected amount of time due to his severe injuries. As of now we are unsure when he will even be able to be home with us. He will have to go to a rehabilitation center before he can even come home once he is out of the hospital.
Unfortunately, Michael does not have medical insurance. He will be spending a uncertain amount of time in the hospital and then in a rehabilitation center. He will also be out of work for a uncertain amount of time as well. More then anything we want to make sure he receive the care and medical attention he desperately needs to be able to pull through this and make a recovery. I know with all the support he has around him he will have every thing he needs but in a time like this any amount would help. Even just $1 or a share.
